Rowing & Canoeing

One of the best ways to see the river Fowey is by Canoe. Several licensed operators offer both accompanied and unaccompanied canoe hire, whilst canoe owners could launch at one of the many slipways around the estuary.

Both Gig and sliding seat rowing are catered for on the river. The castle dore rowing club in Golant offer competitive sliding seat rowing whilst the Fowey River Gig Club and Par Bay Gig Club both use the river to train.
